Torre van Mechgelen of the De Baets AIT Racing Team had a disappointing end to his weekend during the EMX125 round in Uddevalla. The youngster crashed in the second moto and injured his shoulder, forcing him to retire from the race prematurely.<\/p>\n
Van Mechgelen started the weekend with a good feeling on his bike and posted the 11th-fastest time in free practice. In timed practice, he qualified in 17th position.
\nThe first moto proved difficult. After a poor start, Van Mechgelen struggled to find his rhythm and eventually had to settle for 32nd place.<\/p>\n
In the second moto, he made a better start. Running around 23rd position, the Yamaha rider felt comfortable and appeared to be on course for a stronger race. However, a crash brought his moto to an early end. Van Mechgelen injured his shoulder and decided to return to the pit lane.<\/p>\n
